Covid-19 – Latest Government Annoucements
Dear Client,
It is our responsibility to keep you updated when important changes are taking place and especially at the moment when everything is still unclear.
Our Government has officially announced that from 25/05/2020 at 6:00 am until 01/06/2020 at 06:00 am, sailing is prohibited regardless of flag, except boats which are registered with the capacity of twelve (12) passengers and they must have a minimum distance of one and a half (1.5) meters among each other.
Moreover, the Greek Government has announced that the country will be opening to foreign tourism on June 15th, where the arrival of visitors from approximately 20 countries will be permitted. To date the list includes Cyprus, Israel, China, Japan, Australia, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Albania, FYROM, Bosnia, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. This list is subject to change as it also depends on the flights’ starting dates.
A second group of countries will be added on July 1st.
There will be no COVID-19 testing before arrival in the country and no 14-day mandatory quarantine (however, sample testing will be randomly performed while in the country.
Travelling to your boat in Greece should be much easier from mid-June onwards (as and when your country is permitted entry).
As soon as we have an update we will inform at once!
